Early Surrender: A method in which a player chooses to surrender after receiving his first two cards before the dealer checks for blackjack, the player loses only half their original bet.
Easy Way: In the game of craps, the roll of a 4, 6, 8, or 10 in which the dice are not matched pairs but other combinations, such as 1-3 (4) etc.
En Plein: In the game of roulette, a French term for a straight up bet.
En Prison Rule: In roulette, a French phrase applied to even money bets only. If the outcome of a spin is zero, some casinos allow for either half of the bet to be taken back by the player or for the player to leave his bet (in prison) for another spin, if the result of the second spin is zero again, then the total bet is lost.
Entry Fee Tournament: A game where players pay a entry fee up front to compete with each other for cash or prizes.
