Account Card: Many players have an account with their local club or tab, the account card provides them with easy access to their accounts and ease of betting.
Action: The amount of money risked by a player during a playing session.
Advantage: This commonly refers to the edge (house edge) a casino has over a player on a given bet.
All or Nothing: A keno ticket that pays if all selected numbers are drawn or if no selected numbers are drawn.
American Wheel: The American roulette wheel that has 38 numbered slots from 1 to 36 plus two zeros 0 (zero) and 00 (double zero) which increase the house advantage to 5.3%. Check the number sequence for the double zero wheel here.
Anchor: In blackjack refers to the player closest to the dealer's right, a good position if you are card counting.
Ante: In the game of poker an ante is a forced bet in which each player places an equal amount of money or chips into the pot before the deal begins.
Any Craps: In the game of craps this is a one roll bet that the next roll will be either 2, 3, or 12.
Any Seven: In the game of craps this is a one roll bet that the next roll will be a 7.
Attendant Button: On a slot machine the attendant button is located near the cash-out button should you experience any difficulty whilst using the machine or require a payout on a machine that doesn't cash-out coins into the players coin tray.
Attendant Light: On a slot machine when the attendant button is pressed a light located at the top of the machine illuminates (flashes), this is to make floor staff aware of a cash-out issue or machine malfunction. Also referred to as a candle.
